Herbalife products have been used by a number of professional sports people. These include the Tour de France winner Bjarne Riis, Team Faldo and the Faldo Junior Series, the England rugby international Tony Underwood and the football player Andy Hill of Manchester United.
Herbalife were the nutrition sponsors of the 2005 London Triathlon. Herbalife has announced a four year sponsorship of UK based Under 20 European Junior Triathlon Champion and World Junior Duathlon Champion Olly Freeman. This is the first major sports sponsorship for Herbalife in the UK. The performance based contract will run up to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing where Olly intends to represent Great Britain. The deal makes Herbalife his Official Nutrition Sponsor.
Herbalife also sponsor the Chicken Shed Theatre Company based in Liverpool, Merseyside.
